Experience
I currently teach Introduction to Engineering Design and Civil Engineering and Architecture at a nationally ranked specialized technical high school in Brooklyn. Formerly, I was a CTE Department Chairperson at an early college High School for Engineering, Architecture and Technology in Brooklyn, NY. Prior to that I taught Earth Science at a private school in Queens that catered to students specifically on the autism spectrum. The courses that I have taught are Science 5-9, Regents Earth Science. I am certified through PLTW Introduction to Engineering Design in which we use Autodesk Inventor, Makerware for 3D Printing, Laser Cutting and CNC machining (Shopbot) in which we use AutoCAD and VCarve. I have also coached FTC robotics and am familiar with Raspberry Pi and Arduino Microcontrollers programming.

Hobbies
I have played D-1 college soccer at Towson University, hockey and I play guitar. I have two daughters of my own and I pride myself on building relationships with my students. I am a patient instructor that can relate to my students, make learning fun, accessible and will focus on differentiating instruction to meet their needs and level of engagement. My bread and butter has always been making the learning engaging and reframing it into something more tangible to my students.
