Richard R.
Private tutor in Port Jefferson Station, NY
Education
Senior, Applied Math Major, Stony Brook University
Experience
During my time in the city, throughout late high school, I was employed as a tutor for the Boys and Girls Harbor Afterschool program and Community Service program. Throughout college tutoring became charity work between friends. Though tutoring has become more of a sporadic college activity, I've found it to be a wonderful way of learning how other people see the world and thus helping to broaden my own horizons and mold my teaching method to the students need. Relevant classes include: Linear Algebra Pre-Calc Calculus I - IV (Each of which rely heavily on Geometry, Trigonometry, and is inclusive of Differential Equations) Applied Geometry.
